The Beginning Of My Amazing Knitting Journey! Part 2

Hi! Welcome to my blog, today I am going to write part two of "The Beginning Of My Amazing Knitting Journey" if you haven't read part 1 yet, be sure to check it out! Now back to my story, after I learned how to knit, I was hungry for more, I wanted to learn more skills involving fibre arts. My British Godmother recommended me to learn how to crochet, I was at first a bit confused about what was crochet as I haven't seen it or heard of it before.

One day my mom took me to a hobby store, they said they could teach me how to crochet, but when I told them I was left-handed, they said they will force me to use my right hand, right away my mom wasn't and said it was unprofessional and we left. The reason for this is because my mom doesn't want me to learn to crochet in a way that wasn't comfortable, which could make me lose interest in it later on.

So one rainy afternoon, I was bored and had nothing to do, I decided to google about crochet and maybe hopefully learn it. I quickly hopped onto my bed and searched for crochet on google, I watched a couple of videos and was interested! But the problem was, I didn't have a crochet hook or any yarn suitable for crochet! I then planned a trip to Daiso since Daiso has the tolls I needed and they were all only for RM5.90 for each.

After two weeks of practice, I learned how to crochet already, I was very excited about what I wanted to make as my first project. I wanted to make something special, so I created a great design! A drawstring bag!

I got the inspiration to make this bag from an online ad, the bag design was mainly for makeup products, so I thought hey! I could do that. Thanks for reading my blog, make sure to check out part three!
